let’s talk about the Design & Specifications of the Honor 80 & Honor 80 Pro.
Honor 80 Design
Well, on the front, the Honor 80 has a curved display & minimal bezels all around. There is a centered punch-hole front camera, and the power button & volume rockers are on the right & speaker grille is at the top & bottom. Type-C port at the bottom. On the rear, the mid-range Honor 80 has a big circular camera module in a number (8) shape, which houses the triple rear camera and the flash inside it. The honor logo is in line with the camera module up top.
Honor 80 Specifications
First off, the Honor 80 is a mid-range device, so there’s a 6.67-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate & FullHD+ resolution, a 10-bit display, 1000 nits peak brightness, and lastly, an under-display fingerprint sensor. Under the Hood, the Honor 80 is powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 782 processor (Replaces 778G+ processor) and coupled with 8GB/12 RAM & 256GB/512GB Storage. The device runs on MagicOS 7, based on Android 12 out of the box. It comes in four colors – Jade Green, Bright Black, Pink Morning Glow, and Blue Wave. As for the cameras, there is a triple rear camera at the back wherein there’s a 160MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and lastly, a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie shooter. The device has a 4,800mAh battery with support for 66W fast charge, and as per the company, it can charge the device from 3 percent to 50 percent in just 15 minutes.

Honor 80 Pro Design
This is the Flagship device of the Honor 80 Series, Honor 80 Pro also has a bigger curved display with uniform bezels all around. Also, there’s a centered dual punch-hole front camera, whereas Honor 80 has only one. The power button & volume rockers are on the right & speaker grille is at the top & bottom. Type-C port at the bottom. For the rear, Well both the phones flaunt an 8-shaped triple rear camera module. However, the 8-shaped pattern on the Honor 8 Pro has chrome all around it, which looks premium. Honor is on the bottom left, in line with the camera module.
Honor 80 Pro Specifications
The Honor 80 Pro features a slightly bigger display at 6.78 inches than the Honor 80; it is a curved OLED display with a 120hz refresh rate & 1.5K resolution, 1920MHz PWM dimming 10-bit display, and 1000 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, although this version of Snapdragon Gen 1 is slightly understocked as the prime Cortex X2 core runs at 3.0GHz rather than the usual 3.2Ghz. There’s 8/12GB RAM coupled with 256/512GB storage & it runs on MagicOS 7 based on Android 12. Also, one thing to note here is that the other three colors of the Honor 80 series are simple. However, the Blue Wave has a textured wave-like design on the back. Onto the Optics – The flagship has triple rear cameras at the back, a 160MP primary camera with f/1.8 and a 50MP ultra-wide, which can also be used to capture macro shots) and 2MP depth sensor. Well, for those who are unaware, the Honor 70 Pro had a telephoto lens with OIS, so this time around, Honor swapped the telephoto for a depth camera in the Honor 80 Pro. On the front, the device has dual front cameras which include a 50MP ultra-wide lens with a 100° Field of view & a secondary 2MP depth camera. The Honor 80 Pro has the same battery capacity as the vanilla Honor 80, i.e., 4,800mAh & also the same fast charging support, i.e., 66W. Well, if you’re wondering if it supports wireless charging? Well, No, there’s no support for wireless charging.
